Glades County School District Performance Review

Report Summary

In 1996, the Florida Legislature established a performance review process for school districts throughout the state. OPPAGA selected a private consulting firm to conduct a performance review of the Glades County School District. The goal of the review was to support efforts to improve schools through greater effectiveness and efficiency. As specified by law, the Glades County School District was evaluated in the following 11 areas: school district organization and management, educational service delivery, community involvement, facilities use and management, personnel management, asset and risk management, financial management, purchasing, transportation, food service, and safety and security.
