Report Summary

  • During the 1999 session, the Legislature adopted one of our prior report's recommended options of replacing the Florida Entertainment Industry Council with an Office of the Film Commissioner under the Governor's Office of Tourism, Trade, and Economic Development. The Office of the Film Commissioner will be responsible for promoting Florida's entertainment industries, and developing performance standards and outcome measures.
