- Since its inception in July 1994, OPPAGA has made recommendations that have a potential fiscal impact of $233.4 million.
- OPPAGA’s recommendations that have been implemented have saved $93.6 million and have produced $100,000 in additional revenues.
- OPPAGA recommendations that have not yet been implemented have the potential to save Florida up to an additional $81.7 million and avoid $6 million in future costs.
- OPPAGA Reports have identified options that could reduce general revenue needs by $52 million by increasing collections of owed taxes and increasing fees to make state activities self-supporting.
