Report Summary

  • The Department has improved its process for notifyingpublic officials about water quality problems. Its quality assurance of data has alsoimproved. In 1998, the Department will begin making its data more accessible to thepublic. However, the Department still lacks performance data needed to measure programeffectiveness.
